I’m very glad to finally have one of my best friends of all time in Hood River with me. My college buddy Luke Jensen (who also happened to have grown up only an hour away from me, though we didn’t meet till college) decided to quit his job in Ft. Collins, Colorado, do some traveling (Minnesota, Nebraska, and Arizona) and then finally ended up out here while he continues to wait on a reply about his application to the Border Patrol.

Its been a very trying last couple of weeks, so I can definitely say that the last couple days have seen a vast improvement in my emotional health just from being able to spend time with a true old friend and have something from my old life to be grounded in. Anyway, I hope Luke knows how excited I am to have him here and how much fun I know we’ll have as bachelors in the NW.
