Book List-ing

Posted in books, community, conversation by amoslanka on June 8, 2008

This weekend I was emailing back and forth with a fellow blogger about book lists and what we’re reading right now. I thought it might be an interest for you out there to see my list, both past and present and maybe any particular comments I have on some of the books I’ve read.

I don’t mean to presume that anyone particular cares that much about what I’m doing/reading/thinking but hey, thats what blogs are for, right? Lets find out what other people have read and will read in the future.

Here’s an idea: I’m gonna maintain my list pretty regularly, and hopefully keep adding the new books that I have a bad habit of buying long before I have the chance to read them. For all you bloggers out there, why not start your own list as well, add it as a page on your blog. Do a blog post to help promote the idea, and let me know about it, so I can maintain a list to other people’s book list pages on mine. We’ll call it the “BookRoll”, if that makes sense.

Speaking of books, did you know that Reading Rainbow is still around?

holy cow. reading rainbow has outlasted the print life of most of the books it promotes! it was the highlight of my afternoon as a kid. love it.
