haha, crazy stuff that happens in our lives!! Better update all your driving info before you get pulled over by that one cop that could care less and tries to write you that ticket. That's money that you can use to visit us in Texas :)

stuff like this makes me pity the cop because they have nothing better to be doing. but at least he did not give you a ticket. which they could easily do.
i've been stopped before and have had the same problem with not changing my address. i didn't know it was an unwritten rule but it can very much result in an easy ticket for the cop so i say be grateful!
the other day, i was stopped for speeding..not using a turning signal and then he had me for an expired registration and not having my address changed so that would've been 4 tickets but he pretty much told me to get my shit together and let me go. ticket free.
so not all cops are jerks and really, some are still just trying to do their job. that gives me hope that not everyone out there is a savage.

this is funny. i actually had a couple of run-ins with a "granny-buster" here in the dallas are...in one of those wanna-be towns, but it's actually part of a larger town, dallas...but they pretend they are their own town, even though it's like basically just a large neighborhood. anyway...he pulled that stupid 1 month after moving drivers license "unwritten law" crap with me too. exceeeept i got a TICKET! i had moved so much in the previous two years and was planning to move again really soon...so i just used my parent's address as my "permanent address". apparently...according to officer bedford...that is NOT allowed. your DL has to have the address where you sleep (as if he knows where i sleep...and what if i want to sleep somewhere else but keep my stuff there, hmmm?). this being the 3RD time he had pulled me over (for a dim license plate light) i smarted off...grabbed the ticket...and screeched out. kinda wanted to run over the butthead's toes :) ha. fun story, dude.
